How It Works

ConvertFree uses modern browser APIs and JavaScript libraries to process your files locally. When you select a file or paste content, everything is handled in-browser:

Files are read using the File API and processed with JavaScript
PDF operations use pdf-lib, a client-side PDF library
Image conversions use the Canvas API
Results are generated locally and downloaded directly to your device

No server-side processing, no uploads, no waiting in queues. Conversions are instant and completely private.
